Michael Kruscha

He lives and works in Berlin/Germany. Painting and Photography are his artistic focuses. Between 1999 and 2001 work and study with Prof. Daniel Fischer, Academy Bratislava.

The subject matter of his artistic activities include objects, impressions and scenes encountered by the artist during his travels and his everyday life. These are often strongly abstracted or simplified. A recurring characteristic element is the superpostion of graphical or gestural elements. There is often a dialectical tension between form and color, which are used not only as a means of expression, but which also become the contents of the picture. Form and color are, as it were, disconnected, in order that they may be remerged and set against one another.
In GALERIAKALO he presented his long-term Photography project “Bus Stops”, in conjunction with the Germany Embassy.
